Culture and music in El Vendrell

Five museums make up the museum network: the Pau Casals Museum at Sant Salvador beach; the House of Pau Casals on Santa Anna street; the Àngel Guimerà Museum, the Guimerà family house, also known as Cal Ximet, also on Santa Anna street; the Deu Museum, one of the most important art collections in Catalonia, in Plaça Nova; and the Apel·les Fenosa Foundation, which is located in one of the town’s most emblematic spaces, the Portal del Pardo. Completing this circuit, the Portal del Pardo exhibition hall offers regular programming of visual and plastic arts. The municipal space of La Fusteria hosts exhibitions and activities promoted by the townspeople and associations.
In terms of performing arts programming, Temporada is the reference guide for cultural performances in El Vendrell, the result of the work carried out together by the programmers of the various performing spaces: the Àngel Guimerà Theater (TÀG), the Pau Casals Auditorium and the Tívoli Auditorium. This programming makes possible joint cultural offerings with attractive contents for the most diverse array of audiences possible.
